Professor Igor Viktorovich Pershukov, Doctor of Medical Sciences and head of the department, conducts weekly classes. He is a member of the editorial boards and councils of several peer-reviewed medical journals indexed in international databases such as PubMed, Scopus, and Web of Science, and has significant experience in scientific and editorial activities.
Classes take place at several clinical bases of NOPK JAGU, the number of which increased in 2025.
The topics of the meetings cover the organization of research, implementation of clinical protocols, fundamentals of probability theory and medical statistics, as well as critical analysis of contemporary scientific articles from peer-reviewed medical publications.
Club participants analyze materials, identify possible inaccuracies and inconsistencies in scientific publications, and discuss typical and rare mistakes made by authors. The program covers about ten clinical and scientific specialties.
