Jalal-Abad Children's Hospital: The Plenipotentiary Representative Ordered to Improve Conditions Due to the Increase in Flu Incidence
Currently, the hospital is operating in an intensified mode: although it is designed for 160 beds, there are currently 268 children receiving treatment here, most of whom are suffering from colds and influenza. The staff of the institution includes 52 doctors; however, an additional 13 specialists, primarily pediatricians, are needed to fully meet the demands.
During the visit, Tekebaev had a conversation with the mothers of the children receiving treatment and listened to their comments regarding the conditions in the hospital and the existing problems.
The President's representative expressed gratitude to the medical staff for their efforts under increased workload. He also pointed out the need to improve the hospital's infrastructure, including the ventilation system, and gave the appropriate instructions. In addition, he emphasized the importance of enhancing public awareness efforts on influenza prevention.
