She noted that the building of the maternity hospital has undergone major repairs and is intended to serve the local population, which is approximately 9,000 people. However, the institution is not functioning because it lacks the necessary medical equipment and qualified specialists, including an obstetrician-gynecologist, the deputy added.
In this regard, Junushbaeva proposed to consider the possibility of allocating funds from the republican or regional budget to equip the maternity hospital and to instruct the Ministry of Health to develop measures for launching the institution and to determine the timelines for their implementation.
