In Bishkek, 9 people were hospitalized due to icy conditions
Of all the injured, 7 received outpatient treatment, while 2 were hospitalized. Among the injured, 4-5 people were skiing, and two fell on the street.
According to Manapov, during the winter period, especially during the holidays, many people head to the mountains for active recreation, which often leads to injuries. He noted that this year the precipitation has been less intense, resulting in a lower number of injuries compared to previous years.
The deputy chief physician also added that during the holiday period, not many cases were registered, and most patients came with injuries sustained during active recreation.
Manapov noted that an informational campaign was conducted among the population, which has begun to yield positive results. If previously, in winter, more than 500-600 people sought help at the hospital, this season their number has significantly decreased.
