In the village of Arpa-Sai, located in the Kadamjai district of the Batken region, local resident Abdygany Karabashev constructed a tractor using parts from "Daewoo Tico" and "Zhiguli" cars. This project took him three months and was aimed at simplifying agricultural work.

He noted that the tractor has a compact size, making it ideal for working in orchards, allowing easy movement between trees.
“I have an orchard of 30 acres, and to simplify work there, I built a small tractor. I used parts from the 'Daewoo Tico' for the engine and transmission, while the brakes and rear part came from the 'Zhiguli'. The main cylinder was also from the 'Tico', and the wheels are tractor wheels, size 25. During the assembly process, I simply researched information on the internet. The tractor started up after three months. I consulted with a young man from Okhna who had already created similar machines. This tractor runs on gasoline, and we will still check its power. I just took it out for the first time,” shared Abdygany.

Karabashev is 54 years old and is the father of four sons.

The village of Arpa-Sai is part of the rural district of Maidan.
