The deputy asks the cabinet to make the state final examination (ORT) free for graduates.

Today, at a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Dastan Bekeshev voiced a request to the government of the country for the introduction of free administration of the Unified National Test (UNT) for graduates.

He noted that currently the fee for taking one subject on the UNT is 470 soms, and recently this amount was increased to 500 soms.

“In many countries, similar exams are conducted free of charge. Why are we charged for this? The Cabinet of Ministers should explain on what basis the cost is increasing. I propose to cover all expenses for taking the UNT from the republican budget,” Bekeshev emphasized.

It should be reminded that taking the UNT is mandatory for all applicants in Kyrgyzstan.
