Deputy of the State Duma called for increased attention to soil quality in rural areas
She noted that to improve the situation, it is essential to first allocate budget funds for the operation of agrochemical stations, as well as for scientific research conducted by the Institute of Agriculture. This will provide the opportunity to determine which minerals and fertilizers should be applied to enhance soil condition and increase agricultural production efficiency.
Additionally, Mavlyanova proposed appointing agronomists in each aiyl okmotu to enable local monitoring of soil conditions and to correctly implement agronomic measures.
The deputy also emphasized that climate change, declining soil quality, rising temperatures, and decreasing water resources could lead to serious consequences in the future if measures are not taken now.
She called for the implementation of deep strategic reforms in the agricultural sector.
