“Employees are facing refusals to grant them their legal vacation, which is a violation of the Labor Code. The reasons can vary — from high workloads to other circumstances. Many are afraid to openly complain about their superiors, fearing retaliation,” she noted.
According to Surabaldiyeva, employees are told that if they decide to take a vacation, they can immediately submit a resignation letter. “Of course, I will contact the heads of state agencies, but I urge the government to pay attention to this situation,” the deputy added.
