Kyrgyzstan and Russia to Accelerate Deliveries of Military Equipment
As noted in the materials from the Cabinet of Ministers, the aim of the initiative is to simplify and expedite interaction between the two countries. In particular, it is proposed to shorten the timeframes for preparing contracts for the supply of military products and to simplify the coordination procedures.
The protocol provides for the possibility of concluding contracts by authorized organizations without lengthy bureaucratic procedures, which will allow for the acceleration of the process until the final approval of the supply lists.
These changes are expected to facilitate the faster delivery of spare parts, equipment, and machinery, as well as improve the processes of repair, modernization, and servicing.
The document also opens new horizons for cooperation in the training of specialists, the transfer of technical documentation, and comprehensive servicing of military products.
The Cabinet emphasizes that the implementation of this agreement will occur within the framework of the planned budgetary funds and will not lead to additional expenses.
After the Jogorku Kenesh ratifies the protocol, it will come into force upon the completion of all internal procedures and the exchange of notifications between Kyrgyzstan and Russia.
The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Adylbek Kasymaliev, has signed an order to submit this draft law.
