Kasymaliev emphasized that Kyrgyzstan has great potential in the field of fish farming and sport fishing. He noted that the country's internal needs are fully met, and the export of fish products is actively developing. An electronic ticketing system has also been implemented for anglers on the Agro-Smart platform.
Additionally, he noted the achievements of the Kyrgyzstan national team in feeder fishing, which took 20th place at the 2024 World Championship in Spain. In April, the team will head to the next world championship in Italy.
He also added that fishing develops patience, resilience, and inner strength, as well as helps to harmonize relationships with nature.
The international tournament took place on March 28-29 in the Alamudun district, gathering 60 participants from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan. Special prizes were awarded to the winners and runners-up of the competitions.
Furthermore, Kasymaliev congratulated the Federation of Sport Fishing of Kyrgyzstan on the tenth anniversary of its founding.
