“Rumors of this kind always generate interest in society, and I do not understand who initiates them and for what purpose. I can confirm that these are just rumors. At the moment, no official changes are planned. If it were otherwise, I would be the first to know about it,” Shykmamotov stated.
According to previous media reports, the new head of the GNS could be Kydykbek Kydyrov, who served as acting chairman after the dismissal of Altynbek Abduvapov. At the same time, there are rumors that Almambet Shykmamotov may be appointed as the Attorney General or head of the Central Commission for Elections and Referendums.
Shykmamotov noted that he does not intend to go to the Prosecutor General's Office or the CEC, but plans to continue his work at the Tax Service.
“I regard the rumors with irony and try not to pay attention to them. However, this time I decided to speak out, as serious sources have started reporting about my dismissal,” he added.
