The head of the cabinet reminded colleagues from the EAEU about the problems of labor migrants and the delivery of goods.

On March 27, during his visit to Kazakhstan, the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, Adylbek Kasymaliev, participated in a meeting of the expanded Eurasian Intergovernmental Council.

According to the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers, in his report, he spoke about the social and economic indicators of the Eurasian Economic Union over the past five years and addressed a number of relevant topics.

"Compared to 2020, in 2025 all countries of the Union demonstrated GDP growth. The volume of mutual trade between the member states of the Union has also increased. Over the past five years, the economy of Kyrgyzstan has also shown positive dynamics, which indicates the correctness of the chosen cooperation strategy," noted Kasymaliev.

He emphasized that in developing national initiatives in the field of migration policy, it is necessary to improve interaction between governments. "I propose to create a permanent platform for consultations at the departmental level," added the head of the cabinet.

Kasymaliev also pointed out the need to improve logistics efficiency: "Digital solutions can enhance the transparency and speed of logistics processes; however, at some delivery points, control measures are still being conducted, and additional tax charges, including the confiscation of goods, may be applied."

In his speech, he highlighted three main areas for the development of the Union: digital transformation, industrial cooperation, and innovation. "We need to develop modern infrastructure, prepare highly qualified personnel, and improve the regulatory framework. I am confident that the decisions made today will contribute to the further development of our Union," emphasized Kasymaliev.

The head of the cabinet also noted the importance of addressing environmental issues, including monitoring tailings storage facilities and ensuring environmental safety. "Preserving and developing the languages of the peoples of our region in the age of artificial intelligence also presents both a challenge and an opportunity," he added.

"We plan to create open repositories of Kyrgyz-language data and develop machine translation systems. In addition, I propose to consider the establishment of a digital financial hub and a credit conveyor for IT companies," concluded Kasymaliev.

The main program of the forum focuses on the implementation of artificial intelligence and digitalization in various fields, such as industry, public administration, and education, as well as on the development of interregional cooperation and the digital economy at the Eurasian and national levels, as reported by the cabinet.
