In Bishkek, the Ministry of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Communal Services of Kyrgyzstan has imposed a ban on the placement of temporary structures in residential areas. The corresponding order was signed by Minister Nurdana Oruntaev.

This decision was made in response to numerous appeals from residents of apartment buildings and is aimed at preventing chaotic construction and preserving the architectural appearance of the capital.

According to the new document, kiosks, pavilions, canopies, metal tents, garages, and other temporary structures installed in courtyards are prohibited. The only exception is water vending machines.
Relevant departments have been instructed to suspend the issuance of new permits for the installation of such objects, as well as the extension of previously issued permits until a separate regulatory act governing their placement is adopted.
Control over compliance with the new requirements will be carried out by the Department of State Architectural and Construction Control, which is obligated to monitor and respond to violations.
