Rafail Tatikov was born on September 10, 1983, in Bishkek. He received higher education at the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after Iskhak Razakov from 2001 to 2006.
Later, he continued his studies in Karachi (Pakistan) at the Jamia-tul-Uloom-ul-Islamia University, where he completed several specialized courses, including Islamic law and hadith studies.
From 2020 to 2022, he also studied at the Kyrgyz State University named after Isheknaly Arabayev, where he obtained a degree in theology.
Since 2017, Tatikov has been working at SAMK, where he heads the fatwa and religious literature department.
In addition, he is actively involved in teaching and is an independent member of the Sharia Council of EcoIslamic Bank JSC. He also serves as an arbitrator on Sharia matters in the International Arbitration Court operating under the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kyrgyzstan.
Rafail is fluent in Kyrgyz, Russian, Arabic, Urdu, and English, and he can read Persian.
