The event brought together people of different ages and professions, united by a common history. Veterans of the Afghan War and the Batken events, diplomats from the Russian Consulate General in Osh, military personnel from the Kant airbase, and representatives of the Russian House participated in the tree planting. The initiative was supported by activists from the Assembly of the People of Kyrgyzstan, veterans of the Navy, students, and cultural figures, creating a special atmosphere of unity and warmth.
The laying of the alley is just the beginning of a large-scale memorial complex. In the coming months, a monument called "Grieving Mother" is planned to be installed in the park in memory of the soldiers who did not return from the fronts of 1941–1945. Additionally, memorial plaques will be placed here in honor of veterans who passed away in peacetime. The central element will be the Eternal Flame, symbolizing the people's memory of the price of the hard-won Victory.
The initiative to create this project was proposed by the chairman of the Assembly of the People of Kyrgyzstan for the Jalal-Abad region, Kanybek Tilekeev, and the head of the "Slavic Diaspora," Viktor Malyuzhenko. Their desire not only to preserve historical truth but also to strengthen unity and friendship among peoples makes the "Alley of Glory" one of the most significant places in the city, where the quiet atmosphere of the park will keep the memory of the courage of ancestors.
