The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic discussed the implementation of agreements in London with the British Ambassador.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Jeenbek Kulubaev, met today, March 25, with the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Kyrgyzstan, Nicholas Boulter, as reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.

During the meeting, the main focus was on the results of the minister's visit to London in February, as well as the mechanisms for implementing the agreements reached during that visit. Kulubaev positively assessed his trip to the United Kingdom, noting that it created a strong foundation for further cooperation, and emphasized the importance of moving from declarations to concrete actions.

During the discussions, issues related to trade and economic interaction and investments were also raised. In particular, emphasis was placed on the potential for attracting British technologies and investments into Kyrgyzstan's mining sector.

The parties agreed to continue the practice of mutual visits at various levels, including the exchange of delegations and the organization of business missions, which should contribute to deepening cooperation.

The participants of the meeting also expressed a desire to develop ties between the Jogorku Kenesh and the Parliament of the United Kingdom, discussing the possibility of exchange visits between parliamentarians of the two countries.

Additionally, the interlocutors discussed the situation in the Middle East, noting the need for a swift achievement of peace in the region.

At the conclusion of the negotiations, the parties confirmed their interest in implementing the agreements reached in London and agreed on the necessity of maintaining regular contacts to address current issues.
