Paris: Nowruz with a French Flair
The Deputy Ambassador - Counselor of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in France, Ruslan Bekbolotov, reported that the celebration of Nowruz in Paris is scheduled for April.
The postponement of the event is due to unfavorable weather conditions in March, which do not allow for traditional street celebrations.
Nevertheless, France supports cultural diversity and initiatives aimed at fostering intercultural dialogue. The April celebration is expected to be held at a high level and will showcase the richness of Kyrgyz traditions.
The event will bring together compatriots, representatives of the diplomatic corps, and local residents, becoming a notable occasion that strengthens humanitarian ties between Kyrgyzstan and France.
Despite the distances, Kyrgyzstanis around the world continue to preserve and pass on their traditions. Nowruz becomes a holiday that unites people regardless of where they live, reminding them of their roots, culture, and shared values.
Such events not only strengthen ties within the diaspora but also promote cultural dialogue with other nations, forming a positive image of Kyrgyzstan abroad.
