During the meeting, important issues of bilateral cooperation in trade and economy were discussed. Both participants noted positive trends in mutual trade volumes and investment inflows, as well as emphasized the significant potential for further strengthening cooperation between Russia and Kyrgyzstan. Special attention was given to current legislative initiatives under consideration in Russia.
“Cooperation between Russia and Kyrgyzstan shows stable growth in all key areas. Our goal is to ensure further development of mutual trade, attracting investments, and cooperation for the benefit of the citizens of both countries,” emphasized Alexey Overchuk.
During the negotiations, priority areas of joint activities within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union were also discussed. The participants of the meeting highlighted the need for coordination of efforts between the relevant agencies of both countries and the active use of EAEU tools to implement joint initiatives aimed at the sustainable development of their economies.
