In Naryn, Nowruz was celebrated with the participation of the president and the first lady. Here's how it went.
At the event, they visited a yurt installation symbolizing the wealth of the cultural heritage of the Kyrgyz people.
The exhibition included four yurts, each representing a unique aspect of national culture. In one yurt, folk craftsmen demonstrated traditional forms of applied art, while another featured excerpts from the epic "Manas" performed by a storyteller. A separate yurt was dedicated to the ceremony of opening kumis and its tasting, symbolizing the continuity of traditions and the unity of the people.
The concert program continued the event, during which the audience was presented with a theatrical composition reflecting the beauty of Naryn, its historical heritage and cultural values, as well as symbols of Kyrgyz statehood. The performance incorporated musical, choreographic, and visual elements united by the concept of revival, development, and strength of the country.
