Sadyr Japarov: Nowruz has truly become a beloved holiday for compatriots
In his congratulatory message to the people of Kyrgyzstan on the occasion of the spring equinox, he emphasized that Nowruz symbolizes renewal, creation, labor, and unity passed down to us from our ancestors.
“We are proud that Nowruz has become a true national holiday, beloved by all compatriots, regardless of their nationality. During these days, the friendship between peoples and mutual respect on our blessed land is particularly evident. Everywhere, from Batken to Osh, from Jalal-Abad to Talas, Chui and Issyk-Kul regions, and, of course, in our valiant Naryn—where our union is strong, there will be abundance,” the president noted.
Sadyr Japarov also added that this year the holiday is celebrated at the foot of the sacred mountain Ala-Myshyk, on the banks of the Naryn River—the key artery of Central Asia. He recalled the rich history of the region when it was an important hub of the Great Silk Road, and about such great figures as Ishetnaly Arabayev, Turdakun Usubaliev, Sagymbay Orozbakov, and Tynibek Japyy uulu.
According to the president, these historical figures represent the “spiritual peaks” of Tien Shan, illuminating the path for the modern generation.
He expressed confidence that stability in the country has restored citizens' trust in the authorities and opened the way for creation.
“Our main strength in building a new Kyrgyzstan lies in the unity and cohesion of our hardworking and patriotic people, who have united as a single fist. We will confidently move forward, relying on the residents of the seven regions and adhering to the principles of social justice to improve the living standards of the population,” Sadyr Japarov added.
In conclusion of his speech, he called on all citizens to work together in all areas and expressed wishes for prosperity for the country.
“May all the wishes expressed on this great day be heard! May the labor of farmers be rewarded with a generous harvest, and may our public servants receive recognition from the people for solving their problems! May our Kyrgyzstan continue to grow and develop! Happy Nowruz!” the head of state concluded.
