According to information from The Washington Post, the Pentagon has submitted a request to the White House for over $200 billion to fund military operations against Iran. This amount significantly exceeds the military expenses already incurred.

The funds are planned to be used to increase the production of key weapons that have been depleted during military actions.

Some administration officials believe that the likelihood of this request being approved is very low, as many Democrats in Congress may oppose it. In the past two weeks, the Pentagon has proposed several different funding options, and it is still unclear what exact amount it will ultimately request from lawmakers.

According to reports, the costs of the war with Iran have already exceeded $11 billion in the first week of the conflict. The Financial Times reported that the Trump administration has depleted stocks of critically important munitions, including Tomahawk missiles, which were intended for long-term operations.

In response, Iran began attacking U.S. facilities in other Middle Eastern countries, including Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Riyadh.

As a result of the operation by American and Israeli forces, the Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was killed.

Trump stated that the military operation would last about four weeks. In response, Iran declared jihad against the U.S. and Israel, rejecting any negotiations.

The conflict in the region has global implications, including its impact on Kyrgyzstan. Currently, thousands of tourists are stranded in the UAE due to the conflict. Phone numbers for embassies and consulates for Kyrgyz citizens abroad can be found here.
