In the city of Osh, security forces have been put on heightened alert ahead of Nowruz and Orozo Aitom.
This event was attended by representatives of the city police department, patrol police, internal troops No. 703, the Southern Regional Security Administration, as well as Battalion No. 3 of the special police regiment and the branch of the Republican Training Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Osh.
During the event, the readiness of law enforcement structures to maintain public order and coordinate actions was demonstrated.
Present at the event were the mayor of Osh, Janar Akayev, and the head of the police department, Damirbek Isakov, who checked the readiness of the units, communicated with the personnel, and gave necessary instructions.
The mayor noted that the safety of citizens depends on the effective work of law enforcement agencies, especially during mass events and visits from foreign guests.
The head of the police department conveyed congratulations from the Minister of Internal Affairs, Ulan Niyazbekov, to the personnel, emphasizing that during the holiday days, employees would work in an enhanced mode.
“Ensuring the safety of citizens is our primary task. Each of you must be attentive, professional, and strictly adhere to the laws,” added Damirbek Isakov.
The inspection concluded with a ceremonial march of personnel and service vehicles. The police department emphasized that law enforcement agencies are fully prepared to maintain order during the holiday days.
