The deputy raised the issue of building a fertilizer production plant
He noted that with the onset of spring fieldwork, the country is experiencing a severe shortage of mineral fertilizers, which is causing concern among farmers, especially in the southern regions.
“Farmers constantly report a lack of mineral fertilizers, and their prices remain high. This issue needs to be addressed immediately. It is necessary to provide fertilizers to farmers in a timely manner at acceptable prices,” the deputy emphasized.
Duyshenbiev also added that such difficulties arise every year and proposed considering the construction of a domestic mineral fertilizer production plant in Kyrgyzstan as a radical and long-term solution.
