According to lawyer Asel Argymbaeva, this court decision was made on March 13. She also noted that no investigative actions had been conducted with the defendants during the four months of the investigation.

The lawyer emphasized that in court, the investigation merely expressed an intention to conduct a number of expert examinations; despite this, the detention period was extended.

Argymbaeva pointed out the lack of response from the court to the defense's arguments, including the question of the necessity of keeping the defendants in custody when the investigation is not actually conducting any actions with them.

Temirlan Sultanbekov filed three complaints about the inaction of the investigative bodies; however, as the lawyer claims, none of them were submitted to the court within three weeks.

Additionally, she criticized the standard phrasing found in court decisions, stating that the defendants "may obstruct the investigation," and noted that there is insufficient evidence in the case materials to support this claim.

In conclusion, Argymbaeva stated that there is a crisis in justice, where the law is formally quoted but its essence is ignored.

We remind you that on November 23, law enforcement agencies conducted a series of arrests and searches as part of a case regarding possible calls for mass riots. The basis for the criminal case was a video recording involving Temirlan Sultanbekov, after which the Ministry of Internal Affairs initiated investigative and operational activities.

As part of the investigation, several politicians and former officials were detained and questioned, including Kadyrbek Atambaev, Shailoobek Atazov, Syimyk Zhapikeev, Kubanychbek Kadyrov, and others. The searches also affected the families of politicians and journalists, including former First Lady Raisa Atambaev, relatives of Temirlan Sultanbekov, and the family of journalist Dmitry Lozhnikov.

It later became known that Temirlan Sultanbekov, Kadyrbek Atambaev, Shailoobek Atazov, and seven others were placed in a temporary detention facility for the selection of a preventive measure, while others, such as Adakhan Madumarov and Syimyk Zhapikeev, were released after questioning.

Kadyrbek reported that his case had been reclassified to a more serious charge—"attempted violent overthrow of power."

It is known that Shailoobek Atazov and Kubanychbek Kadyrov were released with a change in the preventive measure.
