The Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs discussed measures to combat disinformation
Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Nurbek Abdiyev reported that the owners of fake accounts engaged in defamation will be detained, and legal measures will be applied against them. This statement was made at a recent meeting in the Jogorku Kenesh.
He emphasized that active work is underway regarding cases of discrediting both the state and high-ranking officials.
“The woman detained yesterday created two fake accounts through which she engaged in discrediting and tarnishing the name of the state. Criminal measures will be taken against her. We respond to every citizen's appeal,” Abdiyev added.
