During the discussion, the MP raised the issue that patients suffering from serious ailments complained about the discount being reduced from 50% to 40%. The head of the department confirmed this information and explained that an agreement had been reached for a 50% discount on tests in 2024.
“However, in 2025, the laboratory reduced the discount to 40%, citing an increase in the cost of reagents and the inability to justify the services provided,” Nurgul Ibraeva added. She also noted that negotiations are currently underway with the laboratory regarding the possibility of restoring the 50% discount for patients.
