At the parliamentary meeting, the deputies reviewed the draft resolution of the Jogorku Kenesh concerning the implementation of measures to combat fraud in the banking sector and the internet. This document is a response to the resolution adopted on June 25, 2025, under number 3297-VII.

Deputy Mederbek Aliyev, the initiator of this project, spoke about its objectives and emphasized the importance of fulfilling the directives related to the work of law enforcement agencies. He noted that the Cabinet of Ministers, the National Bank, and the Prosecutor General's Office need to provide the Jogorku Kenesh with information on the measures being taken to combat internet fraud on a quarterly basis.

According to Aliyev, new fraud schemes in the banking sector cause significant harm to thousands of citizens.

“Within the framework of this resolution, government agencies will have to actively work to counter fraudulent activities in the banking sector and the internet, as well as conduct a systematic analysis of the situation,” he added.

During the discussion, Deputy Altynbek Kylchayev emphasized the need to improve legislation to combat dropper schemes, pointing out that such schemes often involve youth and minors.

Elvira Surabaldiyeva raised the issue of the activities of the cybersecurity department in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, while Gulya Kozhokulova brought up the problem of the security of bank databases. Zhyldyz Egemberdieva highlighted the spread of false information and defamation through fake accounts on the internet.
