Nevertheless, he emphasized that the prices of GIK apartments are still lower than those of private construction companies. "For example, in construction firms, the cost can reach $2,000-3,000, while GIK offers turnkey apartments for $750 in the regions and $700 in the Chui region and Bishkek. Prices in the regions are higher due to transportation costs," the president explained.
Japarov also commented on rumors that Kanaybek Tumanbaev is allegedly the only one receiving construction permits. "If anyone has a construction company, I am ready to allocate land for construction. I myself tried to attract elite companies, but they laughed at the price of $700. As a result, we had to create our own company and collaborate with those who can do it. Everyone knows that the former mayor of Osh, Jenish Toktorbaev, builds such houses. If you have the desire, come forward," he addressed the deputies.
