At a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, emphasized that the fight against corruption does not allow for any exceptions, including for members of his family.
The head of state stated that anti-corruption efforts will be intensified regardless of the circumstances.
“No one will receive leniency. Even if it concerns my own brother. I will make no exceptions,” he noted.
Japarov also added that his relatives, including his brothers and children, do not hold any government positions.
“Therefore, my conscience is clear,” concluded the president.
