At a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, spoke about the candidates for the position of Minister of Emergency Situations, stating that nine out of ten proposed candidates have connections to corruption.
He clarified that after the dismissal of the previous minister, ten candidates were submitted for consideration.
Unfortunately, it turned out that almost all of them are linked to corrupt schemes. "Is there really not a single decent person left in public service? We barely managed to find a suitable candidate," noted Sadyr Japarov.
It is worth reminding that earlier, Urmatbek Shamyrkanov was removed from the post of Minister of Emergency Situations, as he was suspected of receiving a bribe.
