Dastan Bekeshev: Government agencies respond to citizens' inquiries using ChatGPT
As part of this draft law, parliamentarians intend to reduce the timeframe within which government agencies are required to respond to citizens' appeals from 14 to 10 days.
Dastan Bekeshev noted that both citizens and deputies often send various requests to government agencies on a wide range of issues.
“Today, practice shows that government employees generally resort to the help of ChatGPT to formulate responses. In some cases, it is evident that the prepared responses have not undergone proper verification. When you ask the executors about the content of the responses, they often reply that they simply completed the task and drafted the response,” he said. He added that despite the use of artificial intelligence, communication occurs in the Kyrgyz language, and the responses are also formulated in this language.
Dastan Bekeshev expressed support for his colleagues' proposal to shorten the response time to 10 days, emphasizing that this time is quite sufficient for preparing a quality response. He added that government agencies should get used to such innovations and not be afraid of changes,” concluded the deputy.
