In social networks, the former mayor of Osh, Jenishbek Toktorbaev, commented on the presence of debts owed by the city hall to contractors, clarifying that the amount is not 12 billion soms, as reported, but much less.

Nevertheless, sources from Kaktus.media found out that Toktorbaev pledged municipal assets and obtained an additional loan of 2 billion soms.

According to sources, the collateral for the budget included municipal enterprises of the city, such as "Osh Water Supply and Sewerage," the Osh City Municipal Transport Enterprise, and "Osh Public Transport Station."

It is known that the Osh city hall had previously received funding from the President's Stabilization Fund, which Toktorbaev himself confirmed.

Sources report that 2.7 billion soms were allocated for various projects, including major road repairs and the purchase of specialized equipment.

During his tenure, the city hall also signed additional contracts with contracting organizations for various works.

Thus, the question of the actual volume of financial obligations of the Osh city hall remains open, considering budget support, loans, and contracts with contractors, sources note.
