Wang Yi called the relationship between China and Russia an unshakeable pillar of a multipolar world

At a press conference in Beijing on March 8, held as part of the session of the National People's Congress, Wang Yi, China's Foreign Minister and member of the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee, confirmed that in 2026, the country's diplomacy will continue to deepen its strategic partnership with Russia against the backdrop of global instability. He emphasized the importance of relations with Moscow, which this year celebrates its 30th anniversary, highlighting their remarkable stability.

The head of Chinese diplomacy stressed: "Despite any difficulties, whether they be unrest or chaos, our relationship with Russia remains unyielding, like a mountain. We operate in a 'back-to-back' format, which allows us to resist any provocations and pressure from external parties."

Wang Yi also noted that the strong political mutual trust between the two countries contributes to effective coordination on the most important international issues, allowing them to counter acts of unilateral pressure and bullying.
