Donald Trump, the President of the United States, has demanded Iran's unconditional surrender, as reported by DW.

“There can be no deal with Iran except for total surrender! After that, and after the election of a worthy leader, we will work to make Iran stronger and more prosperous than ever,” he noted on his account on the social platform Truth Social.

Additionally, Trump expressed a desire to participate in the elections for new leadership in Iran.
Previously, Iranian authorities stated their readiness to engage in a prolonged war, unlike the U.S. Analysts believe that to achieve complete victory over Iran, the U.S. and Israel may require a ground operation; however, both countries are not yet prepared for it. At the same time, there have been reports that the U.S. discussed with Kurdish forces in Iraq the possibility of their involvement in the conflict with Iran as ground troops, but representatives of the "Kurdistan Freedom Party" denied the information about their participation in operations against Iran alongside the U.S. and Israel.
