At a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Aigul Akhmedova expressed her opinion on the necessity of Minister of Education Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva's trips to the regions.

She noted that, despite the fact that we are now in the 21st century, many educational institutions in the districts look as if they have been left behind in the last century.
Akhmedova said: "Our esteemed Minister Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva is actively opening new schools and kindergartens, which is certainly commendable. However, it is important to remember that many educational establishments remain without proper attention: the conditions there are extremely unsatisfactory, the floors are dilapidated, and the desks look like they are from the 19th-20th centuries. Moreover, there is a noticeable shortage of teachers and textbooks."

She suggested that the minister be tasked with visiting the regions to assess the situation on the ground and to see how children are being educated.

The deputy also emphasized: "It is important to develop not only urban areas but also to pay attention to the regions. Otherwise, if decent conditions are not created in these places, parents will strive to send their children to more comfortable schools and kindergartens in the cities," she expressed her dissatisfaction.
