Turkey denies reports of an attack on a U.S. military base in the country
The Turkish Communications Directorate has denied reports of an attack on a U.S. military base located in the country. The agency stated that there are no foreign military bases in Turkey, and all air, sea, and land spaces, as well as military facilities, are under the full control and sovereignty of the Republic of Turkey.
In an official statement, it emphasized: "There have been no attacks on our country. Publications attempting to portray Turkey as a participant in regional conflicts are an attempt at disinformation." Furthermore, the Directorate noted that the country's defense system is functioning at full capacity, and all processes are under the control of the relevant state authorities.
Citizens are advised not to believe unreliable claims and to rely only on official statements from competent organizations.
