These actions were a response to events that occurred in Tehran: earlier, Iranian state television reported the death of the country's Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei. According to sources, he and several members of his family, including his daughter, granddaughter, son-in-law, and daughter-in-law, were killed as a result of a missile strike organized by the U.S. and Israel on the night of March 1.
