At a meeting of the Committee of the Jogorku Kenesh on Science, Education, and Other Issues, Deputy Minister of Education Nadira Dzhusupbekova reported that the availability of textbooks in the country's schools has reached 84.8 percent.

She noted that in recent years, government spending on printing textbooks has significantly increased.

In 2020, about 120 million soms were allocated for this purpose, which allowed for the release of over 330,000 books. By 2025, the funding volume increased to 856.4 million soms, resulting in the publication of approximately 4 million 85 thousand textbooks, which ensured that 84.8% of schools had the necessary educational materials.
