Trump stated that the operation against Iran is planned for four weeks

On March 2, 2026, in an interview with the British publication Daily Mail, Donald Trump shared information about the military operation against Iran. He emphasized that the campaign was expected to last about a month but could potentially conclude sooner.

According to the president, the current dynamics of events align with Washington's forecasts and did not come as a surprise to him. Trump characterized the operation as a "four-week process."

The military action, dubbed Epic Fury, began on February 28 and is being conducted in conjunction with Israel. Strikes were directed at the command facilities of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, airfields, as well as drone positions and air defense systems.

The Central Command of the U.S. Armed Forces (CENTCOM) reported the use of "special capabilities" during the operation, although details of these actions have not been disclosed. As a result of the operation, it has been reported that three American servicemen have died, marking the first casualties for the U.S. in the current campaign.

In an interview with Fox News, Trump also mentioned previous U.S. military operations in Venezuela and strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities using B-2 strategic bombers, highlighting their effectiveness.
