According to information from the IRNA agency, after the death of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of Iran, the country will be temporarily governed by a council that will include President Masoud Pezeshkian, the head of the judiciary, and a representative of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. This information was provided by First Vice President Mohammad Mohber.

It is worth noting that Ayatollah Khamenei was killed on February 28 as a result of a joint airstrike organized by the United States and Israel on Tehran. Official confirmation of his death came a day after the incident, and a 40-day mourning period has been declared in the country.

Additionally, it has been reported about the death of the Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, Ali Shamkhani, and the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Mohammad Pakpour, which has also been previously confirmed.
