The news agency "Kabar" reports that the CSTO Secretariat has expressed its concerns regarding the recent airstrikes carried out by the United States and Israel on Iranian territory.
“We received the news of the beginning of intensive strikes on Iran, which resulted in civilian casualties, with great concern,” the Secretariat's statement notes. “There are serious risks of escalation of the conflict. We support the position of the UN Secretary-General regarding this situation,” they added.
The statement also emphasizes that it is important to return to peaceful negotiations and conflict resolution as soon as possible, in full accordance with international norms and the UN Charter,” the CSTO concluded.
