The mayor noted that it is necessary to complete a number of important projects that were started earlier. “Significant initiatives are being implemented in our city, such as the construction of an overpass bridge. Not all beginnings should be considered failures. We must bring to completion all the positive projects initiated by previous mayors. We will seek support from the republican budget and the Stabilization Fund, and we are negotiating with the Prime Minister and the President,” he said.
Akaev also emphasized that discussions about who left what debts will distract from important matters. “In the coming days, we plan to gather entrepreneurs, and next week there will be a meeting of the city council. The city budget for this year is 5.2 billion soms, which is 1.8 billion more than last year,” he added.
