Israel and the USA launched a massive strike on Iran

The military situation in the Middle East has significantly escalated. Israel and the United States have launched a joint operation against Iran, which experts believe may be more serious than the attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities that occurred in June 2025. In the morning, Israel announced a "preventive strike," leading to the declaration of a state of emergency across the country—schools, offices have been closed, and mass events are restricted. Defense Minister Katz confirmed the introduction of the state of emergency, and Israeli state television Kan reported that the operation is called "Shield of Judah."

The United States is actively participating in military actions. According to Reuters, American forces are conducting strikes on Iranian targets both from the air and from naval platforms. Although the U.S. Central Command declined to comment on its involvement, some senior American officials confirmed in interviews with The New York Times that the operation had been meticulously planned months in advance. The targets of the strikes included not only military facilities but also several ministries in southern Tehran. According to Channel 12 of Israeli television, the strike is aimed at the highest leadership of Iran.

The situation in Iran remains extremely tense. Powerful explosions have been heard in Tehran at least five times, and strikes have also been recorded in Qom, Isfahan, Kermanshah, and Karaj. The Iranian agency Press TV reports civilian casualties as a result of the joint attacks by Israel and the U.S. Anticipating retaliatory actions from Iran, the entire region has been put on full combat readiness, and global financial markets have already begun to react to the sharp escalation of the conflict.
