In response to the recent hostilities occurring at the border between Afghanistan and Pakistan, the Secretariat of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) has issued an official statement. “The CSTO Secretariat is closely monitoring the events in this region. We are interested in maintaining peace and stability, and we believe that the only correct way to resolve the conflict is through political and diplomatic efforts,” the statement noted.
