At a republican meeting held today, the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, stated that the country is open to both domestic and foreign investments. An important step has been the introduction of a moratorium on unjustified inspections of businesses, as well as the simplification of administrative procedures and improvement of legislation.
The head of state addressed representatives of law enforcement and security agencies, emphasizing that the protection of honest entrepreneurs should be a priority. He noted that it is unacceptable to exert pressure on businesses and added that companies that operate honestly and contribute to the development of the economy should have protection. In his opinion, the fear that entrepreneurs are forced to live in negatively affects economic growth.
Moreover, the president demanded an end to baseless inspections concerning village council heads, akims, and businessmen, stating that excessive reporting and unfounded summons hinder effective functioning.
In conclusion, Sadyr Japarov called on local government bodies to be transparent and honest, emphasizing the unacceptability of corrupt actions and abuses.
