The ceremony of presenting credentials took place in Tehran, where the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan, Akylbek Kilychev, presented his credentials to the President of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, the event was held at the presidential administration.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the importance of deepening bilateral ties and confirmed their intentions to strengthen political dialogue, as well as to expand cooperation in key areas for both countries.
There was an emphasis on the desire to maintain open and constructive interaction based on the principles of mutual respect and international norms.
Akylbek Kilychev also expressed his readiness to actively work on deepening partnerships and establishing contacts between the relevant agencies and business communities of the two countries in the field of trade and economic cooperation.
President Masoud Pezeshkian, in turn, wished the ambassador success in his diplomatic activities and emphasized the significance of the consistent development of relations between Kyrgyzstan and Iran.
