At a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Kamila Talieva expressed her concerns regarding the new acting Minister of Health, Damirbek Osmonov, stating: “You have entered the center of corruption, and I fear that you will get sucked in.”
She emphasized that, despite positive feedback on his professional qualities, working in the ministry is a challenging task due to the existing system.
“There is a pharmaceutical mafia operating here. Oncology is in a critical state. Our country ranks among the leaders in the number of oncological diseases. You need to implement international standards of medical care. The service resembles the Soviet era, and there is a lack of service culture and interaction with patients,” Talieva added.
