He noted that in January 2026, there was a traffic accident in this area that resulted in the deaths of three people, while another 30 became victims of accidents.
“Recently, there was an accident on Tynalieva Street near a house, in which a person died. These figures are almost twice as high as last year's statistics, indicating an increased risk for pedestrians. Previously, there was a pedestrian crossing on Tynalieva Street, which was later dismantled,” Abirov added.
He emphasized that to enhance the safety of citizens, it is necessary to construct a pedestrian overpass at this location, as well as a similar facility on Akhunbaeva Street near Kurchatov Street. The city administration had previously been involved in the construction of such overpasses, and this work should be continued,” the deputy concluded.
