
President Sadyr Japarov signed a decree approving the National Football Development Program in Kyrgyzstan for 2026-2034. Official sources reported this event.
The first version of this program was approved in December 2024. The updated version takes into account current data and adds new directions for the development of football.
The goal of the program is to create conditions for mass participation in football, improve the professional level of athletes, and promote a healthy lifestyle among youth. A comprehensive set of activities is planned within the framework of the program.
According to the document, the following key elements were approved:
National Football Development Program; Eight-year action plan; Program budget; Monitoring and evaluation system.
State structures, local authorities, and the Football Federation of Kyrgyzstan are involved in the implementation of the program. These organizations are required to develop their own plans and submit reports on the implementation of the planned activities twice a year.
The main objectives of the program include addressing issues related to the development of football, promoting football among the population, ensuring accessibility of sports activities for all population groups, and improving the material and technical base.
The phased implementation of activities is aimed at activating the participation of sports organizations and public associations, as well as strengthening efforts to develop football in the Kyrgyz Republic.
