In a comment to 24.kg, the official confirmed the authenticity of the recording but noted that the issues discussed in it pertain solely to personal matters and have no relation to state affairs.
Torobaev explained that the recording mentions Erkin Torobaev, who is the son of his uncle. The topic of conversation was the potential sale of a land plot located near the "Barcelona" football club in Manas.
“Kamchybek Kydyrshaevich had previously inquired whether the relative indeed owns this plot and if it was possible to discuss its value. I just asked my uncle to connect us with him. After that, I did not deal with this issue,” he clarified.

Bakyt Torobaev also emphasized that he did not participate in the discussion of the price and did not monitor the progress of the deal. According to him, any attempts to interpret a private conversation in a political context are “speculation and distortion of reality.”
He added that certain conflicts had arisen around his relative's property, and it was during this period that the audio began to circulate, taken out of context.
“This is a simple family conversation that has nothing to do with politics. I ask you not to look for what is not there,” Torobaev concluded.
